Paramedic, AEMT, EMT B 3pm-3am shift
Emergency Medical Technician Job In Milford, OH
POSITION AVAILABLE: EMT, AEMT, PARAMEDICFULL TIME, SET SCHEDULED DAYS 3P-3AM
A Note About Our Work Environment and Business Philosophy
Prestige Patient Transport LLC understands the high stress inherent in EMS. Stress levels are exacerbated when an EMS organization is poorly managed. Symptoms of poor management are crews being late for pickups, management repeatedly demanding crews work well past their off times, units being poorly maintained and inadequately stocked, and management directing how run reports are to be prepared to support medical necessity. EMT's that choose Prestige Patient Transport as their workplace will not face these challenges. Prestige has addressed these challenges in the following manner:
1. We schedule transports instead of “stacking” them. A buffer is allowed between transports to insure you are not late for your next transport. You will often arrive early for a scheduled transport!
2. We limit holdovers to no more than 1.5 hours, and generally don't exceed an hour. If transport volume is heavy, you may be asked to holdover beyond 1.5 hours. It is a request, not a demand. If you are unable to do so, there is not a penalty. We understand that an EMT has a work life and a personal life!
3. Prestige's fleet is modern and well maintained. You will never be asked to operate a vehicle that is not fully operational and satisfies all manufacture standards for safe operation.
4. Prestige ambulances are stocked with all items required by the Ohio Division of EMS for the crew level of service. Your drug box will contain all drugs necessary to meet our protocols and your scope of practice. Items are not maintained past their expiration date.
5. Medical necessity is determined by the EMT. You may have a CMN from a facility, but if you feel that medical necessity is not present, we ask that you indicate your view at the outset of your narrative. We will proceed with the transport but bill the facility rather than insurance where medical necessity is lacking. You will never be directed to embellish on a report.
We view you as a professional. Our philosophy is patient focused. If we do the right thing for the patient success will follow. We want you to be in the best position to deliver care with compassion and respect!
Don't miss out on the opportunity to grow professionally with a dynamic organization that has earned a reputation for compassionate care, delivered on time, every time!
Prestige Patient Transport is recruiting for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic and Advanced to fill several shifts at our Milford and Mt. Orab Ohio stations.
