Provides on-site emergency medical assistance as required, within EMT scope of practice and performs duties of a Public Safety Officer. Responsibilities Maintains EMT equipment to ensure a constant state of EMT response readiness. Responds to requests for medical assistance. Performs thorough patient assessments in accordance with EMT protocols. Administers appropriate treatment within EMT Scope of Practice. Initiates requests for Advanced Life Support as needed.
