Summary
CHS Mountain West has an exciting opportunity in our Country Operations Division as a part time Retail Warehouse Associate at our Ronan, MT. location. This position will require to work safely and efficiently perform the job functions of loading/unloading trailers, moving pallets of product, palletizing bags, picking orders, completing documentation and cleaning in the warehouse. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be self-motivated and work well in a team setting.
Responsibilities
As directed, perform all job functions within the warehouse including loading/unloading trailers, moving pallets of product, palletizing product, picking orders and completing documentation.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat/clean and complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Manage product inventory and follow first in-first out shipping and rotation principles.
Complete shipping, receiving and inspection documents neatly and accurately.
Operate equipment for loading and unloading. This includes operating an end loader, switching engine, fork lift, and skid loader.
Conduct truck and railcar inspections prior to loading with product.
Perform basic preventative maintenance and assist maintenance techs as needed.
Follow all plant and food safety rules and procedures.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS:
The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation may assess the following factors in determining whether an applicant meets the qualifications for the position: application, resume, cover letter, interview, references and a pack test.

The seasonal positions will remain open and additional screening will occur as needed until positions are filled. Applicants for these positions must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire and have a valid drivers' license and less than 12 conviction points over the most recent 36 months. Education:

Experience:

* Must have successfully performed on two qualifying uncontrolled fires as a firefighter. Performance on one qualifying uncontrolled fire as a type 5 Incident Commander is desirable.

* Upon hire: Must complete a physical performance test known as the "Pack Test" which requires you to carry a 45-pound pack the distance of 3 miles in not more than 45 minutes.
