Primary Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to include but not limited to answering and transferring incoming calls, scheduling appointments, reserving conference rooms, and implementing administrative security measures as outlined in the specific offices program operating guide. Ensure the visitor control desk is manned Monday through Friday from 0700-1600, except federal holidays. Verify personnel entering building for visible badge identification and request removal of any unauthorized electronic devices; direct visitors to designated areas; maintain visitor logbooks and master files; and schedule and maintain conference room use. Maintain and distribute emergency data and recall system. Provide escort duty to include individuals at all levels from senior leadership to janitorial staff. Provide security administrative assistance and shall be responsible for processing base access requests and incoming visitors in accordance with base and facility operating guidelines to include but not limited to: verifying incoming visitors to ensure individuals are briefed to appropriate program or programs; initiate appropriate actions to ensure visitors obtain access to the base or building; certify and send visit requests received from other Government or contractor sites for individuals to visit other facilities to hold discussions regarding program material; and maintain files for incoming and outgoing program visit requests in accordance with DoD directives. The contractor shall process and badge visitors in accordance with facility stand operating procedures (SOPs).
Tasks Performed:
Demonstrated Knowledge:
The administrative assistant shall be responsible for assisting in the processing of incoming and outgoing organizational staff members in accordance with base and facility SOPs and guidelines.
This includes but is not limited to: verify incoming/outgoing staff to ensure individuals are briefed/debriefed to appropriate program or programs; initiate appropriate actions to ensure staff access to the base and building in conjunction with the security administrative assistant. Maintain and provide welcome aboard packages with applicable organizational material.
Process and maintain acquisition purchase requests. Develop, review, and staff acquisition purchase requests in accordance with DoD and local purchase request requirements.
Maintain and distribute organizational calendar of events and staff leave schedules as required. A monthly key project events calendar shall be maintained and updated weekly with key project events listed.
Maintain office supply stocks and orders supplies as necessary to meet organizational needs. Research GSA catalogs and outside vendors to determine potential sources of supply, use congressional mandated sources as required, prepare and staff procurement request forms for purchase.
Prepare and process travel order requests and vouchers/sub vouchers in accordance with NAVPERS instructions and joint regulations. Maintain records of travel orders and voucher submittals, dates submitted and track progressing as required.
Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
Experience:
Candidate must have at least one (1) or more years of experience in a customer and business-oriented position.
Candidate must have the ability to coordinate multiple schedules and operate secure and non-secure phone technology.

You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.

animals, provision of IACUC teaching protocols, and setup and cleanup of
all laboratory sessions, and classroom AV support
Student Learning Support:
* Provide support to students to ensure success in the DVM curriculum:

and crisis management/referral.
* Administrative lead and support to the Student Promotions Committee
involving academic and professional activities related to progress and
promotion of DVM students around adherence to required student
performance standards.
Facilities:
* In conjunction with Campus Operations and IT services, provide oversight
of educational facilities, including cleaning, maintenance, renovation, and
AV upgrades to ensure facilities meet curricular needs and provide an
excellent learning environment.
Outcomes Assessment:
* Shared oversight with dedicated University Services and the Outcomes and
Assessment Coordinator for the development and maintenance of
instructional applications that support curriculum and outcome
assessment.
* Shared oversight with dedicated University Services and the Outcomes and
Assessment Coordinator for development and implementation of
outcomes assessment processes to collect and utilize data including
surveys and reports to evaluate the curriculum and student academic

processes and reporting.
* Expected to teach in the DVM program.

* Work cooperatively with Budget, Finance, and Purchasing to manage Blueprint for Maryland's Future funding.
* Develop procedures to evaluate program effectiveness and initiate staff training programs related to student services.
* Monitor, coordinate, and evaluate the effectiveness of school-community programs.
* Provide leadership in crisis intervention and serve on agency and community boards as assigned.
* Engage in grant writing and management.
* Maintain awareness of state and county requirements affecting school health programs and disseminate information as appropriate.
* Coordinate registration procedures for all students and prepare and administer relevant budgets and grants.
* Collaborate with school personnel to share information about students and plan for behavior modification.
* Direct case study services for students with attendance, mental health, or behavior problems.
* Write proposals, administer awarded grants, and prepare related reports.
* Collect statistical data for planning educational programs and ensure the accuracy of student discipline data.
* Review and recommend changes to Board policy and procedures related to pupil services.
* Organize and maintain the student attendance accounting system and supervise the maintenance of student records.
* Oversee the collection and reporting of student data related to attendance and discipline.
* Conduct studies of dropouts and graduates and provide in-service workshops and training programs.
* Attend professional development workshops and explain school system policies relating to pupil services to staff and the community.

* Advocate for students to ensure equitable educational opportunities.
* Appraise parents of community services related to education, social, health, and economic issues.
* Facilitate alternative placements for students and collaborate with school staff to assess student needs and plan programs.
* Interpret policies and procedures to parents, community groups, and public agencies regarding attendance areas and residence verification.
* Support schools in maintaining regular, on-time attendance.
* Recruit, screen, assign, evaluate, and train home and hospital teachers.
* Prepare reports and perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Eligible for Maryland State Department of Education Licensure for Administrator I.
* Master's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
* Minimum five years of successful job-related experience and leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
* Knowledge of current policies directing student conduct and behavior, relevant State and Federal Regulations, and current trends and research in the field.
* Ability to develop effective working relationships with staff, parents, students, public officials, and community organizations.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to present concise yet comprehensive analysis and reports to various audiences.
SALARY: Exempt position This is a twelve (12) month, benefited position. This is a senior leadership position and salary determined by the Superintedent of Schools and the Board of Education.

The Physical Therapist will primarily provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population. The in-home setting could be a patient's private residence or in a patient's room in an independent living facility. Powerback Rehabilitation To You allows the Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat in the most functional environment which is the patient's home. The Physical Therapist assesses the need for, develops, and delivers physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. The Physical Therapist identifies the need for and makes referral(s) to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of patients. They implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. In addition, the Physical Therapist instructs, educates and trains patients and caregivers in those skills and functions essential for promoting independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology. They direct activities to promote and maintain health. This position provides a flexible schedule and work environment in various settings.
1. As necessary or applicable, supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
2. Responsible for adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements as well as work related meetings.
3. Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other related meetings.
4. Makes referrals to other disciplines and agencies in order to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.
5. Consults with other members of the rehabilitation team to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.
6. Adapts program and/or plan of care according to the needs of the individual patient.
7. Promotes a safe environment and enforces the elimination of fire and safety hazards.
8. Orders supplies and equipment as necessary.
9. Cleans, maintains, identifies, and reports the need for repair of equipment as necessary.
10. Puts patient service first: ensures that patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights.
11.Screens, examines and evaluates patients, including history, systems review, and application of appropriate tests and measures, synthesis information and interprets examination findings in order to establish a diagnosis, identify impairments, determine the predicted level of improvement and the time required to achieve it, identify precautions/contraindications and design and plan of care. Develops appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the patient and caregivers, implements the physical therapy treatment plan, and completes all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services. 12. Designs, fabricates, fits and/or applies adaptive devices, and trains patients in the use of adaptive devices included orthotics and prosthetics.
13. Selects appropriate activities suited to the individual's physical and mental capacity, intelligence level and interest.
14. Instructs patient in the skills and techniques required for participation in mobility activities and evaluates patient progress, attitudes, and behavior as related to rehabilitative potential.
15. Performs routine reexamination as needed/required to modify/progress plan of treatment.
16. Incorporates health and wellness programming into treatment plans for patients.
17. Performs home and community mobility assessments and provides recommendations for safe mobility in the home and community space.
18. Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications: 1. Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility; and
2. They must have a Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or
3. They must have a Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or
4. They must have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
5. The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
6. Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients' residence
