The posted range for this position is $62,357 - $93,536 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for a [bonus/incentive/commission] not reflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.

About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. In addition to developing your skills, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more

Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent

As an Electronics Technician, you will operate and perform maintenance on the SEA Airport Automated People Mover (APM) automated electric train system, diagnostics of automated vehicle controls, central systems electronics, audio/dynamic-graphics messaging equipment, variable speed drives, RF system communication equipment and other electronic and mechanical components of the APM train system.
You will perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance and system recovery of the APM system. This includes the analysis, diagnosis, and repair of all electronic equipment associated with the APM controls system, and all associated sub-systems.
You will be required to respond to train failures with a sense of urgency during passenger service and during regular maintenance activities.
You will provide real time failure analysis to plan and implement recovery operations while continuing safe and efficient passenger movement and minimizing system down time.

You will interact with airline and airport representatives, the traveling public and others to effectively maintain a safe and controlled environment.
You will stand in as the lead technician as needed and make informed decisions while managing the maintenance and operations for the APM train system.
