EDUCATION AND WORK HISTORY REQUIREMENTS • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required. A Master's degree or PhD is preferred. • At least 12+ years of relative experience in electrical hardware design is required. • Experience managing entire design cycles from concept-to-production. • Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training. Electronic Technician The Electronic Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, evaluation, calibration, and repair of customer and company owned equipment. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform electronic and mechanical repairs to component level, and calibrate and evaluate all equipment and products as required. Assemble hand pieces, optical products and various types of mechanical, pneumatic and electronic products according to specifications and procedures. Solder components to printed circuit boards and solder various types of connections and work with test equipment in the calibration and evaluation of ConMed and suppliers product. Use a variety of manual and automatic tools and equipment to include DVM and oscilloscope. Test production product to ensure proper operation per established test criteria. General Description The Engineering Technician III performs technical duties that involves performing inspections of minor infrastructure projects to include the construction of roads, stormwater drainage systems, and transportation elements to ensure compliance with construction and environmental standards, ordinances, and law. Conducts all necessary functions in relation to the following programs within the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit including, but not limited to, Stormwater Infrastructure Data Collection, Illicit Discharge and Elimination Program, Residential/Commercial Erosion and Sediment Control Program, and Citizen Drainage Response. The schedule for this full-time position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with the possibility of going to a 4 days per week, 10 hours per day schedule after 6 months.
