Position:
Techo Bloc is on the hunt for their next industrial maintenance technician. Our technicians are highly proficient in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day:
* Troubleshoot using electrical schematics and multimeter/megger to diagnose electrical issues
* Properly size components and cabling for new electrical systems
* Reads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO's, OL's, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components
* Familiar with troubleshooting/set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemen, Lenze, Allen Bradley, AB
* Start or jog equipment to perform maintenance tasks
* Test malfunctioning machinery, identify parts needed and complete repairs
* Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).
* Document and perform all preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment dependability.
* Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
* 2 + years' experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Electrician or relevant field.
* Proficient Electrical skills
* Proficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components
* Read and comprehend schematics and diagrams.
* Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems
