Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is currently seeking an Experienced Electrician to join our team at the Bacchus (Magna), Utah facility.
Position Summary:
Position requires the knowledge and experience to understand and troubleshoot from electrical/instrumentation schematics. Troubleshoot and repair typical industrial electrical equipment, i.e. perform maintenance on robotics, air compressors, electric generators, DC & AC motor controllers, overhead cranes, hydraulics, pneumatics, camera systems, and security systems. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on industrial refrigeration systems, install raceways, enclosures, lighting systems, wiring systems/devices, motors, pumps and related industrial electrical equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass the Safe Explosive Act (SEA) background check.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Great work ethic
• Repair and troubleshooting skills.
• 2 years of industrial or heavy commercial experience.
• Utah State Journeyman Electrician License (not residential journeyman license).
Preferred Qualifications:

About This Role:
As a Journeyman Electrician with Crusoe's Field Operations Team, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems. You will work with blueprints to understand system designs, troubleshoot electrical problems, and develop effective solutions. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities, directly impacting our ability to deliver on our production goals. This is a full-time position.

What You'll Be Working On:
* Installation: Performing electrical installation of equipment in manufactured buildings per plans and specifications. Using your knowledge to determine the best way to install new electrical systems.
* Maintenance: Using a variety of tools and techniques to maintain electrical systems.
* Service: Using a variety of tools and techniques to service electrical systems.
* Blueprint and Schematic Interpretation: Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, blueprints, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required installation, maintenance, and service.
* Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that you follow all safety requirements and OSHA guidelines while you work.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
* Education: High school diploma or GED. Enrolled in a Journeyman Electrician program. Formal electrician training.
* Technical Skills: Ability to use a wide variety of electrician tools and techniques. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Good technical skills and willingness to follow instructions.
* Soft Skills: Must be detail-oriented. Must be a team player willing to take on additional roles as needed. Have a good attitude and willingness to learn. Strong analytical ability and willingness to accept and learn from feedback.

Compensation:
Compensation will be in the range of $43-$50/hr. Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE:
Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial settings.
Prepares work area for installation of equipment.
Installs electrical components.
Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification.
Operates equipment only if trained and certified to operate. (Note: Powder activated tools, and JLG lifts and other operations that may require certification and training before operating).
Sets up and operates tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers and cable vacuum systems.
Be able to read blueprints and electrical drawings and install as specified.
Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances per drawings or plans.
Secure and lock up equipment after use.
State Journeyman Electrician Certification is a requirement in states where required or considered highly desirable in states without this requirement
A proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
Excellent working knowledge of the Building Codes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & REQUIREMENTS:
Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, snow.
Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves always), respirator when required.
Able to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime, and night shifts as required.
