Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Enter, track, and effectively complete all work requests and other daily work items, including all required preventative maintenance (PM), utilizing Altum Work Order Management Software. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Read and understand blueprints and technical diagrams that show the sites of outlets, circuits, panel boards, load centers and other equipment. Install and connect wires to circuit breakers, outlets and transformers. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. Repair faulty equipment or systems.
