Full-time Description The primary responsibilities of the Master Electrician are to work directly with the Electrical Field Operations Manager to coordinate electrical construction jobs and projects and ensure the most efficient use of time and resources. These responsibilities will include planning, organizing, and controlling resources to maximize productivity and meet our end goal, which is meeting or beating the project budget. Along with these responsibilities the Master Electrician will assist on projects as the Electrical Lead, while helping to ensure quality and proper training of Crew Leaders and Helpers. Consistently demonstrates proficiency in all essential duties. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Attends and contributes to pre-construction meetings upon request. Attends on site coordination meetings with customer and salesman upon request of the Manager. Aid in the education and enforcement of company policy and procedures, including site safety concerns. The Electrical Foreperson is responsible for the prioritization of work based on the needs of the client and for the on-time completion of all work, as well as all documentation involved. Provides and / or schedules needed training and cross-training for multi-functional employees. Implements all safety rules and guidelines for all Amentum employees. This position is responsible for performing at the subject matter expert level with respect to estimating, planning, and performing preventative maintenance, responding to work orders, troubleshooting, installation, and documenting the electrical and control needs of facility switch gear, breaker panels, lighting, and process equipment in a critical infrastructure environment. This position is directly responsible for maintaining and assisting site engineering teams to meet site electrical needs. Responsibilities: Maintain current and future critical infrastructure electrical systems. Manages reactive/corrective maintenance as it is reported and distributes to available technicians. Leads safety program for the worksite and maintains reporting associated with safety activities. Audits work performance for safety actions and quality of work, and provide coaching as needed.
