This role is critical to maintaining the safety, functionality, and compliance of electrical systems across our Veterans hospital campus. Document work orders, maintenance activities, and compliance reports using the VA's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Mentor apprentices and provide guidance on VA safety protocols and best practices. Qualifications: Valid California Journeyman or Master Electrician License. 3+ years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical systems, preferably in healthcare, government, or institutional facilities. Thorough knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and California electrical codes. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Ability to use electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, circuit analyzers). Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. The individual will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical demands of the site gas and/or chemical equipment. They will ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution. They will ensure compliance when writing, editing, and executing operating and maintenance procedures and drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture. They will support the installation, decommissioning, and troubleshooting. The repair of all Electronics Gas Systems, Applied Energy Systems gas systems, Fuji liquid delivery systems, Air Liquide Gas and Chemical systems. The individual must be capable of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment. Must demonstrate quality and comprehensive knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication and emergency response. Subject Matter Expert for gas, chemical and/or slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate / Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electronics, design, or engineering • 10 + years of experience as a maintenance or equipment technician • Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment • Experience with gas and chemical systems in a semiconductor ultra-high purity operation as an equipment technician
