Leads safely by following SOP’s, LOTO, PPE’s, Fall Protection and Confined Spaces to achieve plant and departmental goals.
Perform metal fabrication, cutting, welding and finishing.
Performs Electrical PM’s on Baggers and equipment
Electrical knowledge preferred of bulk flour systems. (Transfer blowers, air-locks, diverter valves, sifters, etc)
PLC Experience preferred – can be trained
Use shop and hand tools safely and properly.
Climb ladders, access platforms from 6 to 75 feet, occasionally.
Lift, push, and pull using proper techniques up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 200 pounds occasionally.
Work in confined spaces, underneath, over and next to moving equipment safely.
Can walk and stand for work periods for up to 10 hours when needed with 2 – 15 minute breaks and 1 half hour lunch break. **Overtime required to cover department absences / work up to 12 hours with 3 – 15 minute breads and 1 half hour lunch break
