Capable of performing the following manufacturing engineering functions:
Proactively upgrade and support new and legacy manufacturing/assembly control systems, including electrical circuits and microcontrollers.

Design technical solutions in the areas of machine controls, machine learning, poke yoke development, process automation, advanced tooling, quality engineering, ergonomics, and safety.

Collaborate on multi-disciplinary Agile teams to manage machine learning and other Data Science models.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Controls, or equivalent Engineering Degree is required.
Three plus (3+) years of experience and demonstrated success as a Manufacturing/Controls Engineer in an automotive manufacturing or assembly environment.
Must have experience supporting automated assembly and error proofing systems, to include camera-based vision systems (e.g. Keyence, Cognex).
Must have a strong understanding of the basic theory of industrial control systems applications, design, and operations including concepts of power distribution.
Must have excellent project management skills.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
PLC programming competency is required including the ability to write, troubleshoot, and understand ladder logic.
Experience with system integration in enterprise settings is preferred.
