A Henderson, Nevada based design/manufacturing company is looking to expand its engineering department. We are currently looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer possessing at minimum, a Bachelor of Science degree as an EE. Applicants resume must also show 3-5 years of working experience as an Electrical Engineer beyond their degree. This individual will work as part of a team as an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager, developing various consumer electronic products from their initial concept through final production. Provide a Sr. Electrical Engineer that has expertise in instrument and control design. Must have experience in designing controls systems that meet ISA 84. Some of the scopes of work are a design that allows for remote and local fan controls with use of new/existing soft starters and variable frequency drives, preparing scopes of work for pneumatic building ventilation system upgrade to DDC as well as developing a phased approach to the system replacement, developing a physical data network cabling system for classified and unclassified computing/phone systems, designing a new campus public address system, field support to various controls systems which may include configuration of data switches, web relays, RTUs and associated computing devices. The engineer will be required to prepare design drawings, specifications, review vendor submittals, and implement designs in the field and support acceptance testing. Qualifications EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science in Electrical (Power) Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Nevada Professional Engineer License, or ability to obtain through alternate state reciprocity, required. Familiarity with MicroStation computer aided drafting applications is required. Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to electrical engineering design.
