KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Project and Principal RF Engineers in the design and development of microwave components, including connectors, attenuators, terminations, and switches.
Utilize HFSS FEA software to provide RF simulations of RF products.
Use of state of the art test equipment, including network and spectrum analyzers.
Apply RF design concepts to design high performance transmission lines.
Support the Design Engineering team during the NPI process to validate and optimize RF performance.
Facilitate and document electrical testing of prototypes in a lab environment.
Interact with quality, engineering, and program management groups in executing and refining product development plans.
Provide testing support for production when needed.
Perform research in order to help develop new products.

* Actively design projects, including HVAC load/distribution systems, electrical medium voltage (4.6-34.5KV), low voltage (120-600V), and control voltage (24VDC), and plumbing sanitary, domestic and specialty process type distribution systems.
* Work in both Revit and AutoCAD formats.
* Work on power study models using SKM and Easy Power.
* Work may also include PLC programming opportunities, as well as site visits for inspections and/or data collection.
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour.
Job Requirements
* Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license.
* Local and out of town travel may be required.
* Open to sophomores and above in an applicable program (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.), with juniors receiving priority consideration.
