    We are looking for an experienced electrician to inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment. You will use a variety of power and hand tools so you should have mechanical skills and manual dexterity. Job Duties Test, install, replace, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools according to established specifications. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Record and document repair and machine maintenance information. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, test electrical components and continuity of circuits to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the issue Installation/repair/maintenance of circuit breakers, transformers, generators, outlets and lighting fixtures Install panels, conduit feeders, branch circuits, devices, lighting, and lighting control systems Responsible for understanding and reading plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements Follow lockout-tagout procedure and all other safety requirements Use blue prints and wiring diagrams to plan and execute electrical repairs and installations Perform assigned electronic duties as required Replace burned out bulbs and fuses; repair and install light fixtures Make proper use of tools such as hacksaws, pipe benders, pipe threaders, hammers and screw drivers, splice wires and install conduit, panel boards, switch boxes, motors and drives and other electrical equipment Identify and perform preventative maintenance activities Remove and replace worn components Assist in training on electrical equipment Must be able to communicate effectively with all plant personnel Identify all safety risks and requirements Keep project site clean and organized Requirements High school, GED or equivalent. 3+ year of maintenance/electrical experience Ability to perform intense manual labor Ability to read electrical prints and schematics Ability to setup and operate shop equipment and portable power tools. You will work in a production environment, engage in continuous productive activity, and must meet requirements within time constraints.
