Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform onsite work as directed by field supervisors & foremen and assist other team members where needed.
Example tasks: installing raceways, pulling wire, mounting equipment, assembling, and installing parts/pieces, trimming outlets & fixtures.
Be efficient with time and materials while ensuring the installation meets code requirements.
Use and take care of the protective equipment and safety gear provided and always follow safety procedures.
Raise, lower, or position equipment, tools, and materials, using a hoist, hand line, or block and tackle
Trace out short circuits in wiring, using a test meter
Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
License/Certification
