Job Description
The Staff Systems Engineer performs requirements analysis and management, technical planning, systems level design, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk management, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for products in the Electronic Systems portfolio. Analyses are performed during all phases of the product development process to include; concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, and maintenance. The Staff Systems Engineer will provide guidance in the development and integration of new Electronic Systems and components functioning as a platform integration Subject Matter Expert in this area.
The successful candidate should have experience in the implementation, integration and qualification of emerging technologies. Experience of platform / vehicle integration of sensors, mission systems, helmet mounted, and cockpit display systems would be an advantage. A track record of working with Original Equipment Manufacturers, component vendors and new product technologies while integrating and testing them for a functional system design is required.

Qualifications
Education, Experience & License or Certification
