We help GLI Sales teams generate revenue by supporting two main proposal types: * Proposal - A written statement of work that captures the client's requested services. * Competitive Bids (RFPs) - Request for Proposals are competitive bids, publicly advertised by a client to request services. Over the course of a 10-12-week summer internship beginning in the Summer of 2025, you will receive on the job training to support the following: Preparing Proposals * Collaborates with the Sales Department to produce written Statement of Work proposals to be delivered to the Client. * Organizes multi-stage draft reviews of Sales Proposals, based on feedback. * Revises content based on feedback from management. * Proofreads content for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and clarity. * Supports the proposal process by creating a list of tasks, assigning ownership of responsibilities, and maintaining an overall schedule to help ensure proposals are finalized on time to meet appropriate deadlines. * Tracks the queue of incoming proposals and updates the status of proposals in progress. * Processes signed proposals by updating internal department records. * Coordinates proposal content by reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and attending strategy meetings. * Prioritizes target dates for gathering information, writing, reviewing, and seeking approval of content to meet deadlines. * Performs compliance reviews of proposals and response content based on the client's solicitation instructions. * Research industry information, as needed. * Proposes new, creative ideas to develop competitive bid response materials. * Performs other duties as assigned. Templates and Procedures * Assist with developing templates for commonly proposed services for Sales Proposals and RFP responses, as assigned. * Follows procedures on RFP development. * Maintains quality results by using templates and following proposal-writing standards.
