What you'll do:
Brief Description: Ensure all standard work is up to date. Perform on the job training for Material Handlers at the Dallas Distribution Center using standardized work to insure tasks are being completed consistently across all shifts using the proper processes and procedures. Train employees as needed.
Essential Functions:
* Leader within the department with knowledge of each product line (Lowe's, WD, Power Systems)
* Able to work with new hires or transfers; teach them how to 'pick' and complete each task in each of the product areas through Standard Work.

* Accurate product counts
* Verifying product
* Requires operating a reach truck and order picker
* Ensure safety guidelines are followed in operating equipment
* Follow written and oral instructions. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including practice of good housekeeping
* Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, and report unsafe acts
* Support operations when not performing the duties of the trainer
* Must be able to lift 49 pounds without assistance

The Role
As a Site Security Leader, you will be responsible for leading security and fire protection activities at your assigned worksite including implementation of Global Security policies and standards, oversight of contract security services and quality assurance. As part of your role, you will conduct onsite risk assessments, advise site leadership and Global Security on security and fire protection issues, and implement risk mitigation measures in a timely basis. You will be the designated security lead for the site's Emergency Response Coordination Team (ERCT) and will facilitate emergency response exercises and lead after action reviews following significant incidents and emergencies.

* Provide strategic direction and oversight to contracted site security leader and team.

Eaton's ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Material Handler Lead Trainer. is $25 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
**What you'll do:**
Brief Description: Ensure all standard work is up to date. Perform on the job training for Material Handlers at the Dallas Distribution Center using standardized work to insure tasks are being completed consistently across all shifts using the proper processes and procedures. Train employees as needed.
Essential Functions:
+ Leader within the department with knowledge of each product line (Lowe's, WD, Power Systems)
+ Able to work with new hires or transfers; teach them how to 'pick' and complete each task in each of the product areas through Standard Work.
+ Must be able to motivate and lead others
+ Identify and troubleshoot training issues and communicate to supervision for resolution
+ Retrain employees as needed
+ Identify inability to learn tasks and present materials in multiple ways to help employees understand.
+ Training to include:
+ Following company safety policies and procedures
+ Operating powered industrial trucks
+ Identifying warehouse locations
+ Picking process, in both bins and rack (carts and cages)
+ Packing process, for both LTL and parcel lanes (box making, packing materials)
+ Staging orders for shipment
+ Sorting
+ Use of RF scan guns to verify locations and to enter data.
+ Use of VM1 computers
+ Accurate product counts
+ Verifying product
+ Requires operating a reach truck and order picker
+ Ensure safety guidelines are followed in operating equipment
+ Follow written and oral instructions. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including practice of good housekeeping
+ Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, and report unsafe acts
+ Support operations when not performing the duties of the trainer
+ Must be able to lift 49 pounds without assistance
+ Continuous standing, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution
- Power Industrial Truck Operator experience.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule as needed and to work overtime based on customer demand.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Previous training experience
- Two years of experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment
