Assembly of various detail parts into semi-complex assemblies using various assembly techniques. Must be able to assemble parts using different types of tooling to achieve desired results. Must be able to interpret instructions to mix various epoxies and paints for marking/bonding. Able to work with working parts or components which require special care in handling or other procedures which require good dexterity and facility in use of a variety of hand tools. Work is not typically highly repetitive, but the cycle of repetition may be short enough to allow the development of some habit patterns. Must be able to work with assembly equipment such as arbor presses, pneumatic presses, ultrasonic welders, etc. Must be able to work from wiring diagrams, detailed drawings, standard work instructions (SWIs), or other input documents of similar complexity. May make minor procedural decisions in soldering, fitting, etc., but always within established guidelines. Perform other assignments as required.
