Job Summary Test Engineering Intern: Aids engineers in the design and development of test automation systems and software for performing in-process and final product testing. Assists in the design of automated test systems including programming. Creates and assembles cables and fixtures required for testing. Diagnoses malfunctions and production problems on the basis of test results. Trouble shoots basic electronic/electronic circuits Conducts assembly work, test set up and documentation, and other tasks which require special care in handling, or other procedures which require good dexterity and facility in the use of a variety of hand tools. Creates, modifies, and reviews test procedures. Performs other duties as required. Manufacturing Engineering Intern: Aids engineers in the design and development of manufacturing processes, tooling, work instructions, routers and travelers. Works closely with manufacturing floor personnel to understand and document existing work procedures. Helps define more efficient manufacturing processes for controlling product quality with optimal manufacturing throughput. Assists with continuous improvement of manufacturing processes through defining new manufacturing tooling and procedures. Investigates new approaches for improving manufacturing quality, efficiency, and yield. Performs other duties as required. Mechanical Engineering Intern: Aids engineers in the documentation and support of product design. Building upon existing SolidWorks skill, learns best practices for Aerospace and Defense 3D modeling and drawing standards. Applies this knowledge to the creation of drawings documenting parts and assemblies. Documents design changes through the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process and justifies changes to the Change Control Board (CCB). Investigates product changes and impacts upon certification and qualification including compliance with environmental requirements such as RoHS/REACH. Performs other duties as required. Electrical Engineering Intern: Aids engineers in the design and analysis of electrical components including radio frequency (RF) devices. Analyzes product designs for breakdown voltage and thermal management using software simulation tools and analytical methods. Assists with the layout of new printed circuit board (PCB) designs in Altium Designer. Supports production manufacturing through the analysis and modification of electrical circuits and designs. Performs other duties as required. Required Skills and Qualifications Proficiency with computer usage and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience in SolidWorks and/or LabVIEW preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The primary function of the Injection Mold Technician is to set up, operate, and maintain Certified Thermoplastic's injection molding processes and equipment. The role is intended to be all encompassing and includes both development and production responsibilities depending on the current business requirements. Responsible for documenting mold change and machine adjustments including troubleshooting and equipment maintenance. Makes effective technical decisions and communicates them to engineering, production, and management to support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Work with production personnel to ensure molded components meet requirements and make adjustments as needed. Ability to work towards and maintain production schedules for on-time delivery Managing raw mold material to ensure traceability and prevent contamination. Generate documentation on mold runs for traceability and reproducibility. Work with Quality and manufacturing departments to ensure the quality of production and products produced meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organized environment. Ensure safe working practices are followed. Other duties as assigned.
