POSITION SUMMARY The Drywall Mudder will be responsible for the installation, taping, and finishing of drywall surfaces, ensuring high-quality and durable finishes in our modular housing units. The ideal candidate must be experienced in various drywall textures, mudding techniques, and proper mixing and application of joint compounds. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a team in a fast-paced modular construction environment. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Measure, cut, and hang drywall panels with precision to fit specific layouts. Apply joint compound (mud) to seams, screw holes, and other imperfections to achieve a smooth finish. Sand and prepare drywall surfaces for painting or additional finishing. Utilize different texture techniques such as knockdown, orange peel, and smooth finishes. Mix and prepare joint compound, ensuring correct consistency for application. Install drywall corner beads, tape, and other reinforcements for durability. Identify and correct imperfections in drywall installation to meet quality standards. Follow all safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety guidelines. Work collaboratively with other trades and team members to ensure efficient project completion. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: Proven experience in drywall installation, mudding, taping, and texturing.
