***OPEN INTERVIEWS at SHELBY TOWNSHIP LOCATION Mon-Fri 8am to 12pm***
Tide Cleaners in Shelby Township, MI is currently seeking, Full-time & Part-time Pressers/Finishers/Assemblers. Production usually begins around 7:00 am until mid afternoon, 5 days a week including some Saturdays. Reliability is essential. Pressers accurately but efficiently iron and press by hand or by machine steam and vacuum. Expertise and knowledge of fashion trends and how finished garments should look is a plus. The work environment is comfortable with well maintained equipment. We offer competitive pay and benefits, with pay starting between $14-$20 per hour DOE. Responsibilities:
Professionally press & finish different types of clothing and household items
Have a team oriented mentality and be willing to jump in and help at multiple positions throughout the plant
o Have a meticulous eye for detail and make sure items are clean and without wrinkles
o Have a work history of reliability and stability
o Attend Company offered ongoing training and education
o Do general housekeeping of work area to support a benchmark store appearance
o Other duties as assigned
o Be able to press 50 shirts per hour on a double buck shirt machine.
o Be able to press 20 or more pants per hour.
o Follow Company’s protocol for processes and standards
Ø Prior dry cleaning experience as a presser (both shirt machine and pants press) a plus but not required
