We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely verifying, loading (if needed), and delivering a variety of fresh food products including sandwiches, milk, bread, and bakery items to convenience stores along an assigned route. Warehouse Operations: Work in warehouse temperatures ranging from 38-70 degrees Fahrenheit to load and unload the truck, verify order counts, and complete necessary paperwork.

Vehicle Management: Safely operate, maintain, and clean a 24-28-foot straight box truck.
Documentation: Complete and submit DOT logs and any other required paperwork accurately and on time.
What You'll Need (Qualifications)
Age & Licensing: Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in route delivery driving and backing with a box truck. This role is hands-on and physically active beyond just driving.
Physical Ability: Capable of loading the truck, lifting up to 75 pounds repeatedly, and pushing/pulling up to 300 pounds of product with a four-wheel dolly.
Communication Skills: Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to ensure clear and effective communication.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in warehouse temperatures of 38-70 degrees Fahrenheit and all outdoor weather conditions.
Physical Endurance: Able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching over shoulder height, waist level, and from the floor.

Summary:
The light haul drivers will be responsible for loading, securing, and transporting various equipment and machinery. You will be working closely with a team of experienced riggers to ensure a safe and proper move.
Job Duties include (but not limited to):
Loading, tie down, hauling and delivering various pieces items utilizing a tractor/flatbed trailer.
Maintaining truck/trailer/equipment.
Maintain paperwork, work orders, logs, etc.
Effectively communicate with dispatch on a regular basis.
Work in cooperation with Operations and dispatch a team to ensure customer satisfaction each and every time.
Conducts pre- and post-trip checks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Class A CDL
Must be 22 years old or older (for insurability purposes)
1+ years' flat-bed experience
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
Self-motivated, capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervision
Must have clean a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
Must be able to clear an initial drug screening as well as periodic random screenings as required by the DOT.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical abilities test.
Maintain an excellent safety record.
Willing to work overtime if needed.

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is in search of Class A drivers with a passion for customer service and a safety-first mindset to join our dynamic team. The CDL A position is a Route Delivery Driver position in which you will operate a Company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to and from specified locations by a specified time. This position unloads, sorts, palletizes, and reloads a wide variety of freight, manually or with the aid of a mechanical device. Completes all paperwork required by government regulations and Company procedures/policies.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9am start time
Pay: $30.00/Hour
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Delivers and/or picks up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or the immediate supervisor
Ensures all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
Loads and/or unloads a wide variety of freight onto and off a company motor vehicle, at customer locations and at the terminal, with or without mechanical assistance depending on the size of freight
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid Class A CDL
At least 21 years of age
1 year of commercial driving experience
No DUI's or DWI's (in the past 3 years)
No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years)
Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain - renewals reimbursable
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to frequently enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle.
Must be able to safely maneuver freight/pallets weighing up to 2,500 pounds onto a dolly or cart with a force of up to 130 pounds with mechanical aid in various environments/conditions.
Must be able to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for a distance of up to 20 feet.â¯
Must be able to hook and unhook various commercial combinations, to manually lower and raise landing gear, to operate fifth wheel release levers, to lock and release pintle-hooks, to attach and release safety chains, to open and close cargo doors, to climb into and out of vehicles, and to fuel and check oil/coolant levels of vehicles.
