Once completed most approvals take 24-48 hours. Once approved you then will come to Denver for orientation for 3 days. We will put you up in a hotel. After orientation you will then be hired as a trainee. You will go out with a trainer for 30 days all over the country.
Keep in mind we need drivers right away. You must be willing to get into training within 2 weeks after giving notice at your current job. The holidays are coming up, so please keep this in mind. Your 30 day training will be continuous with no days home. Please do not apply if you need to be home for Thanksgiving.
In training our goal is to mold you into a safe successful Class A driver. Once completed you will come home and take 2-5 days off. Your choice. We then assign you a company truck. You and your terminal manager will pick out one of our many runs that suit you for your required home time for you and/or your family.
Successful candidates will
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a clean DMV report with no serious charges, nothing pending. No suspensions in the last year.
Must have a current Class A CDL and DOT Physical
Must have a clean system and able to pass any required tests including hair follicle or urine
Must be able to stay out OTR for the complete training period of 30 days
Must be able to pass any background checks no serious charges
Must be willing to get started within 2 weeks. Allowing time to give notice at your present job
