This individual will be delivering fertilizer products to local customers in the area, and working operations out at the site when driving is slow. This is a M-F, daytime position, with significant overtime opportunities available in the spring. Candidates who have already obtained a Class A CDL license are eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus. $2500 will be paid after 30 days, and an additional $2500 after 180 days. Responsibilities Under general supervision, carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently. Responsibilities may include: Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading, which may require sampling, loosening large nuts, opening hatches, and attaching and/or detaching flexible hoses. Load and unload agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks using heavy or light duty machinery/equipment. Conduct and properly record repairs and daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks. Regularly inspect in-use equipment. Monitor and maintain quality of inventory (may include blended, bulk or packaged product). Deliver products such as fertilizer, chemical, seed, feed and otherto customer sitesensuringaccurate and on time deliveriesin a safe, timely, and professional manner. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal lawsincludingbut not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service. Keep all work areas and vehicles in a clean, orderly and safe condition. Conduct regular housekeeping duties such as sweeping, shoveling, power washing, scraping and cleaning up spills. Complete appropriate record keeping. Perform grounds maintenance including snow removal. Perform warehouse work including driving loader, loading/unloading inventory, forklift operation, and general maintenance. Promptly report any customer complaints, repair or maintenance needs, or safety concerns to supervisor. Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Perform other duties as needed or assigned to ensure facility operates smoothly and customers receive excellent customer service. Minimum Qualifications (required) 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations Class A CDL, or ability to obtain class A CDL Must meet minimum age requirement Additional Qualifications Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card. Responsibilities Include: Transport employees safely to/from lodges, employee housing, Big Sky, and Belgrade, all of which are within the normal commuting distance of the Yellowstone Club Transportation Drivers operate light and heavy passenger vans and buses for transport Drive and operate gasoline or diesel-powered multi-passenger vehicles to transport employees between Yellowstone Club, Big Sky Town Center, Belgrade, and off-site housing locations Safely transport all passengers Comply with Club traffic, public traffic, and highway safety rules and regulations in operating vehicles Follow written and verbal geographical directions Keep vehicle interiors/exteriors clean for passengers Prepare and submit reports that include number of passenger trips, ridership, hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption Work closely with Fleet Mechanics to keep vehicles running or repairs completed in a timely manner Check condition of the vehicle tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure everything is in working order Position Requirements: GED or equiv; must be 20 years of age or older Min 3 to 6 months experience in transportation driving in a luxury club or private resort setting Proficient in proper and safe driving of vehicles Must carry current and valid U.S. or International Driver License Driving record that meets Yellowstone Club insurance requirements Able to operate gasoline and diesel-powered multi-passenger vehicles Able to sit for extended periods of time and use vision, hearing, and hands/arms to drive multi-passenger vehicles Occasionally required to stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Ability to lift up to 30 pounds; successful completion of snow driving training provided by Yellowstone Club. Must pass pre-employment background check, paid for by the employer, which is carried out equally among U.S. workers and H-2B workers This position is subject to Yellowstone Club Alcohol and Drug Policy and employees are subject to reasonable suspicion testing and post-accident testing The position offered is a seasonal, full-time position located in Big Sky, MT.
