The Position Hillsboro Aviation's contract & charter division provides services to the United States Forest Service (USFS), the Department of Interior (DOI), FEMA, large national utility (powerline & infrastructure), and high-tech companies as well as smaller companies and individuals. Our missions include search and rescue, short-haul (human external cargo, natural disaster relief, construction support, aerial firefighting, natural resource surveys, film/photo/news, and heli-skiing. Our fleet is comprised of Airbus H145D3, Bell 205 A-1++, Bell 407, Bell 407HP, and Airbus AS350B3e. As a Fuel Service Vehicle Driver you will work closely with the Contract & Charter team to provide fuel to helicopters. You will report to the Vehicle Fleet Manager and will be responsible for the following, including but not limited to: Provide fuel for the helicopter, including fueling the aircraft with or without the rotors turning. Support the helicopter technician and the servicing of helicopter and/or support equipment. Submit daily reports of the vehicle status, work-time, DOT driving time and other pertinent information to the office via electronic filing. Ideal candidates are adaptable and willing to work in a high-paced environment, able to work independently within his/her areas of responsibilities under limited supervision, and have a high quality work ethic. Job Responsibilities: Provide fuel for the helicopter, including fueling the aircraft with or without the rotors turning. Support the helicopter technician and the servicing of helicopter and/or support equipment. Submit daily reports of the vehicle status, work-time, DOT driving time and other pertinent information to the office via electronic filing. Take and record daily fuel quality control samples Monitor vehicle fuel levels and order additional fuel in coordination with the pilot. Be responsible for the general condition, cleanliness, and road-worthiness of the assigned vehicle. Qualifications/Licenses: Driver's license with applicable endorsements Current and valid medical Clean driving record Required Skills/Experience: Driving experience with 200-4,000-gallon trailer High quality work ethic with attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Working knowledge with the Microsoft Office software suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; additionally, Apple products Willingness to work in a high-paced environment, the ability to multitask, excellent customer service Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Must be able to lift as least 50 pounds Preferred Skills/Experience: Commercial Class A with Tanker and Air Brakes Endorsement Basic truck maintenance experience Previous experience working on truck-mounted Jet-A fuel pump systems Previous experience in helicopter utility and firefighting environment Benefits: Competitive salary Monthly team-building events, including BBQs Exercise, shower facilities, and locker rooms at headquarters Hillsboro Aviation's growth and sustainability is rooted in its commitment to attracting a diverse set of talent from around the world.
