Job Summary:
As a PTI Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting railroad crew members wherever the railroad requests. Trip length and times vary depending on railroad customer needs. Essential Functins
Transport clientele to and from a variety of locations within and outside of Siskiyou County and/or the State of California. Transports include transporting of clients to and from doctor's appointments, programs, and scheduled outings.
Duties include driving to remote areas to transport clients to/from specific medical office locations, loading and unloading County vehicle(s) ensuring all items and supplies are accounted for and properly secured, pick up, sort and deliver materials/supplies to various sites throughout Siskiyou County.
Operates a County vehicle safely and in compliance with State and Federal laws.
Handle special requests related to the transport(s) and transfer of clientele, materials, and furniture, as directed by supervisors or management, update and maintain records related to delivery and transport assignments.
Maintain assigned vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition, and perform basic cleaning and sanitizing of vehicle as necessary.
