Usually, doulas don't need a college education. The most common degree for doulas is bachelor's degree with 60% graduates, with only 17% doula graduates earning associate degree. Doulas who decided to graduate from college often finish University of California, Santa Barbara or Johns Hopkins University. Some good skills to have in this position include childbirth education, patients and emotional support.
