Duties and requirements include: Clean driving record The position requires driving a van or 15-passenger bus into the community to transport members to the facility and back home. Wells Village School- Guidance Counselor- Wells Village School is seeking a guidance counselor to work with students grades PreK-6 for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate would be dedicated to students and families, and to working collaboratively to create an educational environment that focuses on the social-emotional well-being of all children. Duties may include but are not limited to: ● Implementing effective programs, lessons and activities, to support students with coping strategies; peer relationships and effective social skills ● Providing individual and small group counseling to address issues with self-image and self-esteem, peer relationships, family concerns, behavior, and restoring and repairing relationships when appropriate ● Providing assessment by helping students identify their skills, abilities, achievements, and interests through counseling and guidance activities ● Assisting with HHB investigations ● Assisting in crisis situations ● Communicating and exchanging information with families on a regular basis ● Participating as a member of the school MTSS team ● Leading student groups ● Participating as a member of the school scheduling committee ● Developing and /or implementing SEL lessons, activities and curriculum by way of direct instruction to students in their classrooms
