$5,000 Sign On Bonus Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who functions as an independent healthcare provider who, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team, he/she is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic medical conditions in an urgent care setting that includes telehealth medicine. He/she demonstrates a high degree of clinical expertise in working with patients with acute and chronic illnesses or acute injuries commonly encountered in both the pediatric and adult patient population. Performs patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. Documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements. Works with pediatric through geriatric patients with clinical competency. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Required: Associate of Physical Therapy Assistant, Active U.S. military service members or veterans with any military service, training, or education verified and credited by an accredited PTA program is acceptable Experience: Previous PTA experience in inpatient/outpatient settings Certifications: REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State license; Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire. #LI-JH5 Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
