Experience: Ability to fulfill all necessary training requirements of the agency, including but not limited to crisis management (crisis management training includes de-escalation strategies and physical management techniques). Proficient and comfortable with technology such as Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, etc. DSP Certified preferred. If not already DSP certified, the ability to complete DSP training within 90 days of hire. Experience working with intellectual and developmental disability population (preferred). Skill Sets: Possess problem-solving and time management skills. Sound organizational skills and ability to multitask while prioritizing multiple urgencies as required. Present interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and ongoing motor vehicle insurance (preferred). Must be able to apply for PACE certification. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the flexibility to adapt to changes throughout the shift. Flexibility to work at any assigned HH site. Must be able to maintain client confidentiality at all times. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the entire team to ensure safe and efficient delivery of services while utilizing strong conflict management and team building skills. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The person in this position may encounter clients exhibiting physical aggression; must be comfortable working in periods of crisis and feel comfortable de-escalating individually or as a team. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about to assist clients and other team members, access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The ability to observe details at a close range (within a few feet of the observer). Consistently position self to maintain files in file cabinets or assist clients or other team members. The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
