This role offers the chance to work closely with Sr. Commissioning Providers while gaining hands-on experience in quality assurance-based commissioning processes. You'll play a key role in supporting commissioning efforts to help ensure building systems operate efficiently and meet owner expectations.
In this role you will:
Assist in developing Commissioning Plans, including reviewing project requirements and documentation.
Help facilitate checklists or verification forms to confirm proper installation and accessibility for maintenance.
Support the scheduling and witnessing of functional tests.
Review system submittals and observe construction progress for compliance with contract documents.
Participate in construction site visits and assist with system start-up and testing.
Help verify that required systems training takes place.
Review as-built drawings for accuracy.
Contribute to ongoing commissioning efforts by assisting with system performance evaluations and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
Gain an understanding of project financials.
You will need to have:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
At least two years of experience in building systems, construction, or commissioning-related work. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
