The successful candidate will go through a month-long paid training consisting of three parts (RBT 40-hour online modules, 5 day in-person training and observations). We are currently looking for qualified applicants to fill our part-time Social Skills Specialist positions. The successful candidate will teach social skills to children, teens and young adults in the home, center or community. The candidate will teach functional life skills to clients in a group setting or one on one. Must be able to work independently, adapt to client and family needs, demonstrate empathy and be able to uphold professional boundaries.
AREAS WE SERVE
Our center services are provided at our center in El Monte, our clients home or in a community setting. The areas we serve are Monterey Park, Whittier, San Gabriel, Boyle Heights, El Monte, West Covina and surrounding cities.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's in Psychology or related field required
1-year experience working with children preferred but not required
Be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week (Monday - Friday between the hours of 2pm - 8pm and Saturdays between the hours of 8am - 6pm)
Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin)
Valid Driver's license, car insurance, and personal vehicle for means of transportation.
Be willing to drive to clients homes within a 25 mile radius from our El Monte Office.
