Removes and installs print cylinders.
Set and maintains proper ink levels and viscosity.
Sets print decks for proper impression and registration.

Removes wash up ink/solvent mixture from press and pours into satellite hazardous waste drum located at press side with correct

Job Qualifications: To perform the duties of a press operator, an individual must be able to take direction from the supervisor, keep a neat and clean work area and perform tasks in a timely manner.
Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent.
Training: Hazardous waste training shall be provided to employees within six months of the date hired into this position and a review of his training provided every twelve months thereafter. Employee shall be supervised until training is completed.
General Skills: Proficiency in following oral and written instructions, ability to read and understand schedule board and production
orders to determine order of jobs and necessary materials for production jobs. Ability to read tape measure to 1/32”.
Certificates and Licenses: Must be able to obtain forklift operator certification in accordance with OSHA regulations and standards within three months of date of employment.

Shift schedule/hours:
A: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday 7:00am-7:00pm
Compensation:
Starting wage ranges from $18.00-$21.00 dependent upon experience
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: You will be responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines which include but are not limited to:
Responsible for daily activities such as supplying line with plastic film, checking inks and viscosity, ensuring line is running
Inspect finished goods and ensure accuracy.
Package finished product
Responsible for loading and offloading product
Communicates any quality concerns to Lead Print Pressman and Quality Techs.
Maintains accurate paperwork
And other assigned duties
Comply with AIB and BRCGS standards as well as all safety standards
OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
Produce quality materials to be distributed to customers
Maintain production volume and efficiency
Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
Troubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when needed
OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent/GED
Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing job experience preferred.
Ability to work 12 hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
Good basic math skills and knowledge of how to read a tape measure.
Possess basic computer skills.
Demonstrated skill in organizing work, taking initiative, setting priorities and sound decision making.
Possess logic, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills.
Deals effectively with company personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to top management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their 12-hour shift on a cement production floor. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Job Summary: Operates VCI roll coating machine, on a flexo press, for applying a coating and print graphics across a substrate. (Training will be on 1st shift- 7:30 am - 4:00 pm)
Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse
Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards
Identifies poor quality material and notifies the supervisor and/or Quality Control
Responsible for recording jobs into computer with correct usage to maintain inventory
Flags splices and problem areas
Check VCI coating levels to ensure an appropriate amount is applied.
Check print heads/printed material to ensure a legible print is present.
Identify equipment needing repair and notify supervisor/team lead
End of order/day cleaning required, includes flushing out of ink pans, cleaning of anilox rollers and print plates, wiping down/cleaning of machine rollers if buildup occurs.
Must be willing to work in other departments and/or areas and complete miscellaneous duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma and/or equivalent
Printing press experience is preferred
Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
Must be able to keep up with production standards
Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills
Must possess good problem solving skills
Ability to interact in a professional manner with coworkers and other departments
