What You Will Do:
Review job orders to determine job specifications such as quantities to be printed, production times, colors, and color sequences.
Load, position, and adjust paper rolls on equipment.
Select and install printing plates, dies, and cylinders in press machines to specifications.
Monitor the printing process to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions.
Adjust printing plates and pressure rolls to improve print quality.
Maintain consistent quality checks during the production run to ensure finished product adheres to customer specifications.
Remove printed materials from presses and place in designated areas.
Perform preventative maintenance of press machines and report all safety concerns or issues to supervisor.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and complete daily housekeeping assignments.
Maintain inventory accuracy.
Complete all job-related paperwork accurately.
Work with other press operators and supervisors to ensure a smooth shift changeover.
Ensures the work conducted withing the production area is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
All other duties as assigned.
Position Details:
Plant location: Fort Worth, TX
Work week and shift: Mon - Thurs 3:15PM to 1:45AM (Voluntary OT available Fri 3:15PM to 1:45AM)
Compensation package offered: $19-27 / hr, depending on years of experience
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of experience running a flexographic press machine.
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years of experience properly utilizing a manual pallet jack.
Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to identify the “root cause” of a machine problem and determine how to correct it.
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:
The pay range for this role is $19 to $27 per hour, based on years of experience. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.

The Print Operator will provide exceptional customer service and solutions for client's copy/print needs. Will follow production processes to produce quality, professionally finished products using print and production equipment for cutting, binding and laminating. Will also service and provide basic troubleshooting for copiers and printers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Review, prioritize and submit print requests from mainframe/mini/server/desktop according to complexity and urgency. Ensure that the output are quality checked and accurately meet the instructions as submitted
+ Deliver print jobs within established timeframes; Maintain logs of all work submitted and completed including service logs
+ Responsible for minor maintenance of reproduction equipment by solving paper jams; placing services calls and conduct routine cleaning
+ Take meter reading of each duplicating machine on a daily basis. Monitor inventory of print supplies, stock paper and toners
+ Inform clients of estimated completion time, when unclear of instructions, when there is a delay in service or when a specific service cannot be provided. Work with client to resolve complaint to client's satisfaction
+ Help to open and close the print center; Assist in keeping the center neat and professional looking
+ Where high speed, high volume digital publishing printers are used, using printer software, make adjustments to image quality, create folders and directories for print on demand orders; There may be special request by client for specialized type of printing e.g. large paper printing, poster copying, manual/handbook sized printing
+ Prepare monthly production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges

As the Brake Press Operator, you are responsible for bending, seating, flanging, and top flanging material to the specifications contained within work orders and production drawings in such a manner as to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, LEAN and production goals. Set up machine for required operation (bending, flanging, seating, top flanging) and manufacture parts according to prints and work orders. (75%)

Full-time Description
Mittera is looking for Press Assistants on all shifts to join our growing team! This position is entry level and able to easily advance into skilled roles. Press Assistants provide additional support within the Press Department and are responsible for assisting their crew by stacking and bundling printed products in preparation for shipping as well as assisting in operating web-fed offset printing press, performing other in-line finishing operations as assigned, and helping to prepare and maintain the presses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Uniformly jog and hand-palletize printed products off the press equipment
Stage stacker equipment to meet current job requirements
Pack boxes according to load tickets and put boxes in appropriate location for shipping
Check printed product for quality defects
Assist press team members during make-ready with wiping down blankets, changing ink, performing clean-up on/around the press, mounting plates/blankets, etc.
Keep press areas clean and stocked with necessary supplies
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Skills and Abilities
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
1 - 3 years of previous manufacturing/office experience preferred
Full comprehension in reading work instructions and business memos
Effective communications skills with all levels within the organization
Ability to use basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, measurements and critical thinking, to solve practical problems
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Must have the ability to work effectively in stressful situations and meet stringent deadlines

Summary
