We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and committed nutrition professional to join the Field Services Administration (FSA) team and work in Region 3-Mountain. Under the direction of Region 3-Mountain Child Nutrition Supervisor I in the FSA, the incumbent will monitor and complete administrative reviews of program operators participating in the Child Nutrition Programs (CNP) for compliance with state and federal regulations, conduct nutrient analyses of meals served, educate the public, as well as nonprofit program operators, provide program-related technical assistance, and analyze and interpret state and federal laws and regulations. The position requires at least 50 percent travel and throughout the state of California as needed. The hybrid schedule requires a minimum of two days per week in the field or reporting to the office in-person. Registered Dietitians preferred but not required. The majority of the caseload will be in Inyo, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.
