Assist in preparation and food set up for both patients and/or employees. 16-24 hour/week position, some weekend availability required. Our hospital is in search of a Dietary Aide, with flexible availability to accommodate weekday and/or weekend scheduling needs. Utilizing dietary production sheets, prepare and assemble by mixing and measuring all cold side dishes for patient trays within recipe compliance. Using tray assembly as a template arranges cold items in an attractive and appealing manner. Prepare and assemble by mixing and measuring house and supplemental nourishments. Handle and transport food trucks to the respective wings. Pick up and return food truck to the kitchen after completion of meal service. Arrange the trays in the carrier unit for washing machine operation. Maintain work area in a clean, orderly manner throughout the day following all sanitation guidelines as authorized by the state regulations, and the company's Infection Control policies and standards. Follow safety rules and regulations in accordance with the department and OSHA standards. Wash floors and assist in other kitchen duties as may be indicated by volume or flow of work. Remove accumulated trash from kitchen work stations and dispose of appropriately as per department policy and procedures.

Harbor Health operates two Elder Service Plan Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, a program that allows frail elders to live in their homes and communities. Our Elder Service Plan has two medical and day centers in Mattapan and Brockton, MA and cares for more than 450 participants. The Elder Service Plan is seeking Per Diem Dietary Aides to provide "on call" coverage as needed at both of our locations in Mattapan and Brockton, MA. Role: The Dietary Aide is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of kitchen maintenance, such as sanitation, OSHA regulations, and management of all storage including foods as well as meal services for the ESP program are in compliance with ESP protocol as well as state and federal regulations. Responsibilities: Stores perishable cold food in the refrigerator or freezer and ensures hot food is placed in warmers until served. Ensures refrigerator temperature is maintained and documented daily in the log. Job Details Sherrill House - Boston, MA Part Time EveningDietary Aide DETAILS Part Time 24 hours The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. Including but limited to working on tray line, delivering resident trays to units, working in the dish room, and sweeping/ mopping kitchen after meal service. Performs other duties as needing including participating in quality assurance activities. NA - CPA II : Provides nutrition services to low-risk applicants and participants in all categories of eligibility (infants, children, prenatal, breastfeeding and postpartum women). Responsibilities include : 1. Completion and receipt of acceptable status on all components, activities and posttests of the CPA II Training Program to obtain CPA II status. AFTER OBTAINING NA - CPA II STATUS: 2. Provides nutrition care for low-risk women, infants and children at certification and follow-up (as defined in the risk criteria), including all aspects of: Anthropometric and hematological data collection. Dietary and nutritional risk assessment. Food prescription assignment. Nutrition and breastfeeding counseling and education. Documentation and nutrition data entry. Health and social service referrals. Follow-up nutrition education. 3. Assists in the planning and development of education materials and group nutrition education activities. 4. Performs other duties as needed, including participating in quality assurance activities.
