Responsibilities:
Create 2D and 3D CAD models for custom steel components using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Develop detailed part and assembly drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and welding symbols.
Interpret customer specifications and translate them into shop-ready fabrication drawings.
Work closely with engineers, machinists, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and proper fit/function.
Revise and update drawings based on design changes or shop feedback.
Assist with material take-offs, BOM generation, and shop packet preparation.
Ensure all detailing work adheres to internal quality standards and industry best practices. -Maintain organized digital files and version control of all drawings and documents.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a steel detailer or mechanical drafter in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication, weldments, and machining processes. -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Knowledge of fabrication tolerances, material properties, and GD&T.
Preferred Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:
Structural Design/Drafting/Modeling:
Interpret loading diagrams (uplift, snow drift, ponding, etc.) with assistance from internal Project Managers and Engineers.
Apply load requirements to steel joists and girders.
Identify and apply special joist and girder profile properties (single/double pitch, bowstring/barrel, etc.).
Create Joist/Girder/Deck placement plans, sections, and details reflecting the contract drawings for the Structural Engineer of Record's review/approval and for ironworkers' installation guidance.
Generate Bills of Material for all joists, girders, and decks, importing them into the design program to create shop orders.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Review structural contract drawings and specifications for non-residential building projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
Washes, cleans, waxes, vacuums, etc. interiors and exteriors of boats for scheduled customer pickups, display and service customer units.
Using a fork lift or tractor, participates in the unloading of incoming boats, motors, trailers and ATVs then transport them to various areas within the dealership, i.e. storage lot, outside display, showroom floor or customer delivery area.
Confirms packing list or invoice of all boat loads or other product deliveries.
Transports and stages customer boats and ATV's to service, rigging and storage yard by moving units from one location to another as necessary.
Maintains an updated list of cleaning supplies and inform Service Manager or Service Lead of needed items.
Assists Rigger and Service Specialist with PDI and VIN verification processes.
