Overview: Selectek is seeking a skilled Steel Detailer with a robust background in 2D or 3D design, specializing in joist, girder, deck, or structural steel detailing. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team in Fort Wayne, IN, and will play a crucial role in interpreting loading diagrams, creating detailed placement plans, and generating Bills of Material. Key Responsibilities: Structural Design/Drafting/Modeling: Interpret loading diagrams (uplift, snow drift, ponding, etc.) with assistance from internal Project Managers and Engineers. Apply load requirements to steel joists and girders. Identify and apply special joist and girder profile properties (single/double pitch, bowstring/barrel, etc.). The Detailer performs various detailing and transportation of new and pre-owned boats, motors, trailers and ATV's in support of a TMBC Sales, Service and Parts operation.
