This position ensures that vehicles are placed in sale condition according to customer specifications and standards by performing a variety of cleaning duties to the interior and exterior vehicles. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Clean out and remove trash from the interior by removing debris and trash from ashtrays, console, dashboard, door panels, seats, etc., as well as trunk and engine compartment. · Remove license plates and stickers, as well as any writing from windows, except pertinent to CFAA, Inc. business. This hourly, non-exempt position is a specialized aircraft service involving good dual action polishing skills and great patience. Knowledge of surface paint finishing is a plus. Tech will train and work directly with Supervisor to complete as much aircraft detailing as possible per day/week. May require travel up to one week at a time nationally and internationally. Must be able to complete internal company work orders in accordance with company guidelines. Job duties will vary each day and will encompass projects as designated by the Supervisor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Detail aircraft exteriors and polish bright work Tape and prepare aircraft for detail work. Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience Working around aircraft a plus Paint experience a plus. High physical labor production is a plus. Initiative Self-motivated and able to maintain a rapid pace. Able to process work without supervision. Must maintain a neat and clean job site. Must have great patience. Must be detail-oriented and great organizational skills. Responsibility Must perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines. Follow all company and safety rules during the performance of duties. Maintain a positive customer service environment. Contacts Airframe Team Leader and Team Leaders of other departments assigned to multiple aircraft. Program Manager, Department Managers, Director of Maintenance and General Manager. Working Conditions The work will be accomplished in both a hangar environment and office environment. Varied positions in and around the aircraft. Equipment Used Dual-action sanders provided by West Star. Hand sanding tools provided by West Star. Any other specialized equipment required to perform job will be provided by West Star.
