Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and premier employer in Alaska. We are looking for a Car Detailer to join our Anchorage Budget Rental team part-time this Summer. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, willing to learn, and have good time management.

Your main priority is to help manage the excess demand in the summer season by making sure our rental vehicles are clean and ready to rent in a timely manner and presentable fashion.
Job duties include washing and vacuuming vehicles, cleaning vehicle glass, chemically treating tires, vinyl and other surfaces as needed. Driving and moving vehicles as needed, fueling vehicles at an off-site location. Inspection of vehicle to ensure road ready. Occasionally jumpstarting or charging vehicle and janitorial tasks inside and outside the detail shop. Delivering and Picking up vehicles at the Airport and Kendall locations.
Work is primarily performed indoors in a shop environment, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, use of general hand tools, bending, twisting, and crouching will be required frequently to perform job duties, climbing and reaching will be required often to clean all parts of vehicles and pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds of force occasionally performed.

Responsibilities
Vacuum and clean interior and exterior of each vehicle, including windows
Visually inspect every vehicle for flaws in the repaired area(s)
Performs complete detail after vehicle repairs have been completed
Organize and maintain the inventory of detail department supplies
Maintain the standards and quality of service requirements
Staging vehicles - tapping/cutting
Polishing, Buffing and Nibbing
Minor paint work and minor painting
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Driver's License Required.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
Successful completion of background check required

Role Overview: As an Automotive Detailer at Lithia KIA, you'll play a crucial role in the presentation and maintenance of our vehicle inventory. Key Responsibilities:
Thoroughly clean interior and exterior vehicle surfaces, applying detailing products as needed.
Perform minor cosmetic repairs to maintain the appearance of the showroom and vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and quality, ensuring they meet our dealership's high standards.
Manage the organization and upkeep of the detailing area and its equipment.
Collaborate with the sales and service departments to ensure timely and efficient detailing of vehicles.

Previous experience in automotive detailing is preferred but not required.
