You will lead the design team for the Coinbase Developer Platform. What you'll be doing (ie. job duties):
Lead and manage a team of 3-5 Product Designers building great developer experiences
Proactively identify blockers, opportunities and improvements to the team's product area.
Be involved in all decision-making at all project phases for your product area (including planning, strategic, tactical, QA, analysis, decision, shipping and retro)
Collaborate cross functionally to drive and shape product vision and strategy
Direct the allocation of resources for the team in the current and following quarter

3+ years of professional experience leading a team of designers

Because we are an Engineered-To-Order provider of process equipment, you'll enjoy the ability to work on several different projects that vary in scope, design, and function. As our Sr. Structural Designer, you will work on a project team to execute all engineering and design deliverables for our various ETO projects.
Key Contributions:
Coordinate with Sr. Structural Engineers to assist in the development of complex structures.
Producing aspects of structural design and drawings in AutoCAD, CadWorx, 3D Works, 3D Solids, Prestel, Revit, and/or MicroStation.
Organizing and maintaining a design and CAD digital file data management platform i.e., EPDM for each project.
Successfully carrying out assignments on project design teams.
Undertaking the detailed design and working drawings of steel, concrete, and site plans.
Facilitating and ensuring the quality of design, drawings, and graphic work produced for the team.
Ensuring that the projects' needs are met in terms of project work plan schedules and budgets.
Perform field work to obtain field dimensions and obtain existing drawing information in support of project deliverables.
Review shop drawings and vendor submittals.
Review and answer contractor requests for information
Regularly collaborate with colleagues in other offices and in different areas of expertise in an integrated design environment.
Requirements
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of Structural Design experience in the Petroleum/Petrochemical Industry or other energy facilities and a thorough knowledge base of applicable theories, practices, and accepted office procedures is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to maintain confidential information are required.
Strong communication skills, a cooperative and friendly approach, and a willingness to work in a team environment are required.
Demonstrable problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
Must possess a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where a strong sense of urgency and excellent customer service skills (external and internal) are required.
The ability to deliver assignments to meet due dates is required.
Proficiency with Navisworks Manage, Staad Pro, & Bentley ProStructures for AutoCAD is preferred but not required.
Experience in an ISO 9000 environment is preferred but not required.
