You will lead the design team for the Coinbase Developer Platform. Our vision is to be the best onchain developer platform allowing millions of developers to easily and securely build blockchain applications, and serve them to billions of users. What you'll be doing (ie. job duties):
Lead and manage a team of 3-5 Product Designers building great developer experiences
Proactively identify blockers, opportunities and improvements to the team's product area.
Be involved in all decision-making at all project phases for your product area (including planning, strategic, tactical, QA, analysis, decision, shipping and retro)
Collaborate cross functionally to drive and shape product vision and strategy
Direct the allocation of resources for the team in the current and following quarter
Help others grow, including mentoring other designers
Design working processes for your team
Organize and document multiple projects and the team's working in writing
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
3+ years of professional experience leading a team of designers
Have experience designing for developers (eg. developer tools)
Have experience recruiting and managing designers focused on developer audiences
Strong mentorship and technical skills
Experience setting creative direction for consumer-facing products for web and mobile
Excellence in UX thinking, visual design, and written communication
Experience working in a collaborative environment with other designers, engineers, user researchers, and product teams

Job Duties
What You Will Be Doing:
Serve as Project Engineer on County design projects. As the Project Engineer, coordinate design with other engineering disciplines, the engineering design review team, and other team members; translate operational and maintenance requirements into terms the project team understands; review and consolidate technical comments from design reviews; serve as a single point of technical contact for the project to the Project Manager; develop work plan, schedule, and budget for the execution of designs for wastewater projects.

Prepare public works and procurement contract documents and cost estimates to comply with County and State public bidding policy, including stamping and signing engineering plans as a licensed Professional Engineer.

Assist with complex emergency repairs of wastewater facilities when technical engineering assistance as necessary. Coordinate with the work of maintenance personnel or contractors to accomplish necessary repairs.

Working Conditions:
Remote and Onsite Work Details: Employees in this role work remotely from a home location, up to 2 days per week onsite reporting. Administrative Support:

About the Department
Bellevue College has one of the largest interior design programs in the state of Washington. The CIDA-accredited program provides students with a broad foundation in fine arts and design, skill-based practice, and critical thinking experiences. The curriculum offers rigorous and varied methods of design investigation, including exposure to a variety of interior project types and relevant design problems.
Our program currently enrolls over 300 full- and part-time students, historically graduating an average of 30 to 50 students per year. The program attracts students with diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, with half of our students employed while they are enrolled, and many returning students who are preparing for or reacting to career or life changes. Currently, we have 5 full-time faculty members and many talented adjunct instructors, all with diverse academic backgrounds and practice-based experience, and a dedication to student success.
Essential Functions
Teaching duties include:
* Conduct equitable teaching and promote learning excellence in the Interior Design department via grounded or hybrid course delivery.
* Foster a positive and caring learning community where diversity and pluralism are advanced.
* Promote creative and critical thinking through a variety of applied and project-based learning methods.
* Provide verbal and written assessment of student learning outcomes.

* Professional experience in interior design, architecture, interior architecture, environmental design, or industrial design.
* Experience using industry-standard digital design media and emerging communication tools for virtual collaboration and online instruction.
* Experience in integrating diversity, pluralism, and inclusion into teaching and learning, or equivalent transferable skills to do so.
* Familiarity with Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) standards, National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification, and their relevance to interior design education and practice.

You must be comfortable dealing with ambiguous, challenging problems. Excellent communication skills are vital.
Required Skills:
