The Marketing Specialist/Graphic Designer INTERN will join a fast-growing team at Milliman. This position provides training and experience leading to a full-time position. The following job description details the roles and responsibilities of the full-time position. In this role you will report directly to the Lead of Marketing and have regular interactions with sales staff and senior management. Conceptualizes and designs marketing materials including websites, promotional pieces, brochures, presentations, social media, advertising, and internet marketing components.
Discovers and organizes graphic design elements including photography, video clips, animation, icons, logos, and other visual elements.
Collaborates with marketing team to assess, conceptualize, develop, and implement new marketing concepts and initiatives that enrich our brand and win new business.
Assists with design and implementation of online marketing programs including graphic updates, e-mail promotions, landing pages, e-newsletters, and other forms of Search Engine Marketing.
Assists with design and implementation of market research to formulate strategic marketing campaigns, measure results and make adjustments to maximize future success.
Assist with design and maintenance of CRM software.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, Graphic Design, Business, or related field.
Current knowledge of technology advances in software, graphic arts, and design.
Be available to work 20+ hours/week in our Omaha, NE office.
Dates of internship are flexible.
Skills and Abilities:
Expertise with graphic design software including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and other programs within Adobe Creative Suite, as well as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Pardot.
Proficiency in design and layout of websites, e-newsletters, landing pages, blogs, and mobile apps.
Ability to develop the overall layout and production of both print and electronic visual materials including brochures, newsletters, advertising, direct mail, interactive media, multimedia projects and internet material.
Strong organization skills with high aptitude in problem-solving, managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and attention to detail.
Friendly and engaging personality with ability to work independently in addition to a team environment.

Summary:
The Case Designer acts as a support partner for assigned Highland Sales Resources (both Signature Vice Presidents as well as those outside of the Signature channel). Case Designers work with their assigned Sales Resources to provide presale assistance including case design, product selection, illustrations, application fulfillment, etc. Case Designers also help maximize opportunities so that the field can focus on generating additional revenue by seeing more potential producers and clients.
The position requires a sense of urgency and attention to detail to ensure services provided are prompt, accurate and meet all required compliance and Service Level Agreements guidelines. The Case Designer must also possess strong written and verbal communication skills to provide pertinent information on product recommendations, explanations as to why recommendations were made, as well as guidance regarding the application process, and strategies on how Highland can best support the producer.
The Case Designer must be a team player with the ability to work closely with other job families that support the VP. The Case Designer must develop and maintain strong working relationships, primarily, with the VP's Case Development Associate and members of Case Management, Commissions Accounting, and Broker Contracting Teams as well.
The Case Designer position reports jointly to the Sales Support Management Team and primarily to the Manager closest to their physical location.
