About the Position
Perform routine calculations and apply basic electrical knowledge to design power systems including voltage drop calculations, power supply sizing, wire sizing, circuit protection sizing, conduit sizing and cable tray sizing.
Applying NEC knowledge particularly in the following areas of grounding, circuit protection, cable sizing and wiring methods
Ability to read and interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams and use that information as part of the work process to develop various design packages (i.e. control schematics, installation details and physicals)
Produce design drawings for control panels for panel fabricators, including panel layouts, schematics, and bills of materials.
