Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Operations Director, this role is responsible for collaborating with Sales and Project team members to create compelling, strategically organized and visually appealing proposal documents, ensuring they effectively communicate a company's capabilities and strengths to potential clients across multiple practices. The position requires depth in ability and skill set and high levels of organization to contribute to and highly impact each project's successful design solution. This position also includes project-based leadership accountabilities and responsibilities. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to: Supports sales and marketing business development pursuits which align with business goals and objectives Manages the DI proposal process from ideation to completion in partnership with the DI Sales team Maintains and updates templates, and marketing project and copy database when necessary Organizes the outlines and structure of proposal decks based on a thorough knowledge of the proposal document and what the client is requesting Ability to translate complex information into clear and concise visuals Collaborates and works closely with all DI departments to gather necessary information and ensure alignment for proposal development. Conducts a post-submission review by preparing an after-action report to analyze the proposal process, identify challenges, and recommend improvements for future submissions. Owns and continually updates the DI Brand Standards Guide from a look/feel and tone/voice Provides mentorship and oversight to the Marketing Designer(s) on the team Leads and assists with sales/business enablement projects and ensures DI brand standards are in alignment. Instructs third-party partners and firms regarding use of the DI brand Provides guidance for DI creative campaigns from ideation to completion with various stakeholders Manages and maintains the library of DI marketing sales content via server, DAM (MediaValet) and project management platform (Wrike) Oversight of all incoming DI marketing requests and provides roles and responsibilities on a per project basis Attends meetings with the Sales and Marketing teams to assess needs and identify opportunities for creative marketing projects Assists with website-related designs and tasks, and partners with various external and internal groups for successful project completion (example: DI agencies, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Account Managers, etc.) Reviews and proofs print and digital content to ensure DI brand and quality standards have been met. Develops and maintains a strong knowledge of the design profession and industry trends Steps outside the traditional role of designer and brings new expertise and ideas to enhance DI's approach to marketing for future campaign and sales enablement efforts KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Manages priorities and timelines effectively and can delegate and collaborate with ease Demonstrates a strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with expertise in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator in combination with digital skills (Layout, Branding, UIUX, Google Slides). Ability to uncover new paths for go-to-market efforts Confidently speaks to what makes DI remarkable and why current and future partners should care Ability to receive constructive feedback and implement change in relation to assigned tasks and ideas Possess an authentic team player attitude and always be willing to help Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines effectively, remain calm while under pressure, and provide creative problem-solving Ability to perform day-to-day tasks while thinking critically about the larger marketing strategy and brand identity for DI Ability to successfully execute projects on tight deadlines Utilizes project management skills, taking unprompted initiative to seek out any project updates, content, or direction from stakeholders and relay those updates as needed to the marketing and/or sales teams Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic, or other Design related program with equivalent work experience required A minimum of five years of digital and traditional marketing design experience and brand development is required.
