*Position is on-site in either Thorp, WI or De Pere, WI, there are two positions available. When one location is filled the location will be updated. JOB PURPOSE: Perform functions to manage and execute projects for customers and internal departments related to the design and layout of new and renovated spaces using furniture design standards, in addition to analyzing and implementing product improvements for existing or custom products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Transition customer ideas into project designs and layouts that meet customer specifications. Ensure designs incorporate all applicable codes, regulations, and furniture design standards. Provide guidance to customers on products that will be best suited for their application. Work with the Sourcing Specialist to secure new hardware items for custom products. Perform independently to effectively manage projects with minimal oversight. Provide creative design suggestions to team members on design as well as solutions for complex designs. Create professional presentations geared towards the dealer and architectural community. Create design packages for both loose furnishings and fixed casework. Set up video web calls to review and discuss drawings with customers to gather project details and verification. Perform other duties as assigned and needed. Local and overnight travel, less than 10%.
