The Opportunity:
The Ministry Outreach Center Driver & Warehouse Assistant is responsible for transporting and picking up materials and people as directed. These trips will occur during regular business hours
however
, emergency situations may arise that require trips outside of normal business hours. This position will also be responsible for daily warehouse responsibilities not limited to and including processing donations, mentoring and supervising program participants as well as maintaining the overall cleanliness of the warehouse.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Pickup and delivery of Gift-in-Kind donations with fleet box trucks, based on the needs established in the daily staff meetings.
Supervise and mentor New Life Program participants on warehouse procedures and expectations.
Transport critical supplies, including meals to and from Denver Rescue Missions' kitchens and shelters.
Purchase and transport materials as requested by the Ministry Outreach Center Supervisor, Receiving and Distribution Specialist, or other staff.
Pick up and load furniture from donors' residences.
Ensure fleet vehicles are fueled, thoroughly cleaned, and properly maintained.
Complete Department of Transportation pre-trip inspections on required fleet vehicles.
Ensure forklifts and floor scrubbers are properly maintained.
Transport New Life Program participants to Denver Rescue Mission sites and various functions.
Deliver office furniture and other materials to various Denver Rescue Mission sites.
Assist in snowplowing when necessary.
Promote a healthy spiritual environment and exhibit an encouraging and respectful manner at all times.
Display the ideals of “humble, hungry and smart” as described in Patrick Lencioni's book, “

”.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and trainings, utilizing Agile and Lean Methodologies and promoting departmental values.
Attend weekly staff meetings.
Maintain frequent communication with the Receiving & Distribution Supervisor on warehouse tasks. This can include, but is not limited to, processing donations from the donation dock, sweeping and picking up trash around the warehouse, and helping organize the racking, cooler, and freezer.
Assist in the organization of volunteer projects around the warehouse.
Encourage, and hold participants accountable through Scribe software by writing HHS assessments and Incident Reports when appropriate.
Assist Commodity Assistance Partners in the check-out process as they take food and other items from the Ministry Outreach Center.
Willingness to engage in continuous improvement projects and training.
Assist the Food Distribution Coordinator and Client Services Coordinator as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the Receiving & Distribution Supervisor.
Requirements
Minimal Qualifications and Requirements:

The Opportunity:
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Denver facilities. This includes cleaning, promoting infection and pest control, cleaning up spills as needed, and working as part of collaborative team. The Custodian is a full-time, non-exempt position of Denver Rescue Mission. The custodial team supports all Denver facilities, and this posting is for all Denver facilities.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Operate the Kaivac bathroom and floor cleaner machines, vacuums, carpet cleaners, industrial washers/dryers, power washer, and manage hand trucks.
Completion of proper client request forms.
Clean windows, doors, frames, handrails, and walls, including regular sanitation with the Protexis spraying units.
Clean up spills and liquids which may occasionally include body fluids according to appropriate bloodborne pathogen procedures.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained, submit maintenance requests for repairs of the facility and coordinate with the maintenance technicians.
Promote infection control and address pest infestations when appropriate, including assisting with bed bug protocol as needed.
Regularly restock storage and supply closets.
Daily disposal of trash and assist with moving other large items.
Handle cleaning solvents and chemicals according to OSHA standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
Lock and secure all storage space, laundry room and offices.
Train and supervise program participants completing work readiness in Custodial Services.
Participate in efforts to drive continuous improvement in Custodial Services.

The "Case Manager - Residential" position will provide assessments, assignments, and accountability to guests and participants in our facility and programs. This position will handle a large caseload and will be required to take initiative and multitask.

GENERAL DUTIES:
Demonstrates respect, cultural competence, and knowledge of trauma-informed care in interactions with participants, staff and other community providers.

The People & Culture Manager (PCM) will lead and direct assigned function(s) of the People & Culture (PC) department including, but not limited to, business partnering, employee relations, policy management, benefits and leave administration, and compensation and classification. The PCM additionally plays a critical role in helping to design, implement, and administer Denver Rescue Mission's programs as part of the PC delivery model.
RESPONSIBILITIES will include but not be limited to:
Business Line Consulting Services
Provides consulting services to assigned client groups, including but not limited to, employee relations (counseling, conducting personnel investigations, and coaching), talent acquisition (recruiting, hiring, onboarding), and training and development matters.
Facilitates New Hire Orientation presentations.
Supports business line leadership by providing consultative support and services around employee relations including training and development, career progression, progressive discipline up to and including termination support, and adherence with regulatory and DRM policies and procedures.
Provides support and guidance to PC business partner(s), management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Provides hands-on support to employees and managers to better understand and utilize PC tools, policies and processes, maximizing organizational effectiveness, ensuring compliance, and employee engagement.

Administers HSA and FSA procedures, including problem resolution for user issues, adherence to all federal guidelines, and communication to employees regarding said guidelines.
Works closely with executive leadership and benefits broker in reviewing, evaluating, and making recommendations for annual employee benefits plans and offerings. Recommends benefits programs to management by studying employee requirements, trends, and developments in benefits.
Works closely with P&C leadership and benefits broker to conduct annual open enrollment process; including employee engagement, communication of benefit changes; collaborating with benefits broker on benefit brochure and support resources.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Inventory Management
Maintains stores of food for daily meal services. This undoubtedly will require trips to get donated items or food bank resources.
Supervises receipt of food stores both purchased and donated. Counts all donated foodstuffs and includes in a weekly report for Gifts in Kind (GIK).
Maintains inventory system that tracks all food stores. Rotates and maintains order in storage areas.
Maintains records of food requisitions, deliveries, USDA donations and provides these records as requested by the Assistant Director or the DRM Inventory Coordinator.
Planning/Preparation/Training
Helps plan weekly meal menu that optimizes food purchases and donations. This menu is to be published at the first of each week. Plans and supervises the preparation of meals for special events and holidays.
If there is a lack of supplies, holds responsibility for ordering/getting them (e.g., monthly cleaning supplies/daily meal needs).
Trains residential food service staff in appropriate food delivery practices. These practices are to include appropriate hygiene, inventory management, food preparation, clean up and menu development (this is especially true if meals need to be made for meals [i.e., breakfast] that you will not be able to supervise).
Supervises Program Assistant Cooks. Establishes weekly working hours and implements Cook's job description (AM/PM).
Coordinates and supervises preparation of all meals (including weekend operations). Adheres to USDA and Public Health food preparation standards.
Food Safety
Follows practices of personal hygiene, food handling practices, and proper cleaning and sanitizing methods as described in the “Food Sanitation Manual.” Enforces all hygiene regulations. Records all necessary data in logs. Must be willing to get trained on any Mission specific training programs (e.g., ServSafe ).
Maintains kitchen security, which includes food storage areas and equipment operations. Holds responsibility for the operation and upkeep of all kitchen equipment.

Ensure the Emergency Shelter is cleaned according to the established standard. This includes daily cleaning, removal, dispersion, or storage of all clutter, trash, parking lot trash, sidewalks, etc. Ensure bedding is ready for daily pickup for laundering and ensure that it is present when arriving to work each evening.
Track durable goods needs for the Emergency shelter, ensuring that sufficient blankets, toiletries, etc. are on hand and ready for use.
Through nightly inspections of the Emergency Shelter, generate a list of work orders for presentation to the Community Life Supervisor.
Ensure adherence to the facility opening, bedtime, wake up time, and shower schedule.
Other Responsibilities
Manage the “support team” of shelter guests, who assist with setup and teardown, cleaning, etc. at the Emergency shelter.
Enter appropriate information in SCRIBE as needed.
Bring all issues of concern to the attention of the Community Life Supervisor.

The Clinical Support Specialist (CSS) will report to the Clinical Support Supervisor and the Clinical Director of Counseling and Admissions. The CSS is responsible for supporting the counseling team and tasks associated with the day-to-day operation of The Crossing campus.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Security and Safety:
The CSS will operate as the primary support to the counseling team.
The CSS will provide direct support to residents by performing community evaluations and monitoring resident compliance with program guidelines.
The CSS is responsible for the security and safety of the facility and residents during their shift. This includes control of drugs, alcohol, or other hazards, which could jeopardize the purpose of the Mission/Crossing or its clients.
The CSS is responsible for ensuring that situations which jeopardize the safety of the Mission/Crossing, and its occupants are handled appropriately. This means handling difficult and unruly clients, as well as making certain that occupants are free from drugs, alcohol, and weapons.
Sees to the welfare of outside guests by calling police, ambulances or behavioral health services.
Regularly checking and documenting the delivery of medications.
Ensuring that the right person receives the correct medication.
Facilities:
Maintenance: Through daily property checks the CSS will put in maintenance requests online as well as follow-up with email to appropriate staff.
Shuttle Duty: When needed at The Crossing, the CSS will help with driving the shuttle
Other Responsibilities:
CSS should understand their role in the daily operation of the Mission/Crossing, including the specific shift's area of focus: clinical support and facility safety.
CSS must have a good working knowledge of the facility and program policies and procedures, operation of the facility, mechanical operation of the facility (including fire alarm, electric, gas, and water shut-off, etc.), how to control and track inventory, safety, employee handbook.
CSS must schedule time off with the Clinical Support Supervisor so there is always a staff member on duty during all shifts.
It is of vital importance that the CSS shows their presence throughout the facility throughout their shift.

The Clinical Support Manager at The Crossing will oversee the daily operations of the Community Life Team. This position will ensure adherence to Denver Rescue Mission (DRM) policies and maintain effective team management.
This position requires flexibility in shifts to accommodate the varied needs of The Crossing.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
OPERATIONS and ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
Collaborate with the Hospitality Desk Team ensuring seamless coordination between both the Operations and Clinical Departments.
Manage programmatic move-ins, ensuring all documentation, compliance folders, and room placements are properly handled.
Maintain data quality in Scribe, including intake documentation, background checks, and HMIS processes.
Ensure that rooms are being assigned in compliance with HUD.
Lead audits in tandem with the Director for Programs on site.
Ensure overall facility safety and security as a Safety Coordinator and address maintenance issues promptly.
Manage the Community Life team in utilizing de-escalation techniques and track mandatory training.
Ensure the facility perimeter is free from loitering and encampments, coordinating with staff and outside resources as needed.
Assist with events, coordinate with outside agencies, and help interview and schedule Change Makers with the director.
Maintain knowledge of SCRIBE, HMIS Database, and facility policies and procedures.
SUPERVISION OF STAFF:
Supervise Community Life Coordinators, including overnight staff, addressing concerns with the Director.
Conduct monthly training sessions with the Director and assign specific training for staff development.
Schedule shifts to ensure adequate coverage and hold individual performance meetings.
Conduct employee reviews and address performance issues according to the Progressive Disciplinary process.
Approve timecards, PTO, and manage instances of overtime, missed shifts, and early departures.

Requirements
Minimal Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or comparable degree in human services, business, education, or related field
