Ordering diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc. Uses tools, such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth and mouth. Maintains complete and accurate records of care provided, submits charges in a timely manner and reflective of care delivered. Managing and communicating with other staff members to provide care to patients. Provides professional oversight and training for dental assistants. Participates in dental quality initiatives and chart reviews. Meets established clinic productivity standards. Ensures adequate coverage of dental clinics with other clinic dentists.
