Clinical Dentists are also responsible for the supervision of employees/staff to include assigning and reviewing work, scheduling subordinate staff, making hiring recommendations, and training staff. They are responsible for maintaining the professional requirements of the field, and may often assist in the training and education of students who are conducting their rotations at the Jefferson County Department of Health. Clinical Dentists may often serve on boards or committees to assist with special initiatives and goals related to the agency.
